General Questions

Where are you based?

We're based in Springwood, Blue Mountains, a town west of Sydney. It's a quiet little town, where people smile and nod hello to each other. We have supplier partners in Melbourne and Brisbane who hold some of our products. That means we can offer fast delivery (7-10 days) for most of our products, right across Australia.

How long have you been around?

Benny’s Tech Bar was born on March 14th, 2018. It was a beautiful sunny morning and a pretty special day if you ask us 🙂

What payment methods do you accept?

Currently, we accept payment via:

Which products have fast delivery?

Most of them do!

Products which show a delivery timeframe or **Fast Free Delivery** in the description provide the fastest shipping and best experience for you.

Products held with our supplier partners are still based in Australia so you shouldn’t be waiting more than a week or so for your item.

If you're in a hurry and want something quick, like a last minute purchase for a gift, look for the express post option at checkout which is available for most of our products at an additional cost.

You can also select “Priority Order Processing” at checkout to have your order jump to the front of the queue and be processed next in line, minimising the time until dispatch.

Standard vs Express Delivery & Priority Processing

What’s the difference between your delivery options?

Standard delivery is FREE and refers to AusPost Parcel Post. Usually arrives within 7-10 days.

Express Post is our fastest delivery method (2-3 days) 

Priority Processing speeds up the time spent processing your order, select this to ensure your item is sent out the next business day.

If you need something really quick, choose both Priority Processing and then Express Post at checkout.

I only received part of my order - is the rest still coming?

Being a small family business, we’re not yet able to afford a large warehouse to hold everything in the one spot.

Some products are held with our supplier partners in Melbourne and Brisbane, which is why your order may arrive in multiple packages.

Nothing to worry about though, you’ll still receive everything you asked for and they usually arrive very close together.

If you’re at all concerned, just reach out to us and we’ll be happy to help. 🙂

Which countries do you deliver to?

We offer FREE shipping and delivery options across Australia.

We can ship to most other countries via a custom order, but shipping may not be free.

If you can't place a standard order due to your location, please reach out to us via the contact us form below and we'll draft a custom order for you.

It may include a shipping fee but the cost will be minor, and we'll be sure to let you know before you have any obligation to buy.

How long will delivery take if I live in X city/country?

If X is in Australia, you’re in luck!

You can expect delivery within 7-10 days after your order is placed, sometimes faster.

For other locations like Europe, US or China, delivery should occur in about 3 weeks.

Remote areas may face longer delivery times depending on the local delivery network.

Best bet is to get in touch with us via the chat, or send an email to hello@bennystechbar.com.au and tell us exactly what you’re after.

If we don’t have it in stock right now, we can usually ask our suppliers and order it in for you. We’ll do what it takes to keep our BTB Family members happy.

Will _____ product fit my car / iPad / other device?

Something I purchased doesn't fit!

Oh no! How disappointing! It’s all good, just get in touch with our friendly team and we will either exchange it for a model that will fit, or find the best alternative solution for you.

Returns & Refunds

I need to return / refund - I think I made a mistake

We're super proud of our BTB Quality Guarantee, with 365 Days Easy Returns.

Just get in touch with our team and tell us what's up. We’ll chat to understand the problem and work through a solution to fix it.

We've always got your back if you're a member of the Tech Bar family!

Can I exchange for another colour or type?

Of course you can! Our BTB Quality Guarantee lasts for 12 months, so as long as your product is still in good condition and you have the original packaging, you can exchange it.

How long do I have to return something?

You have a whopping TWELVE MONTHS to return it 😃 Our BTB Quality Guarantee protects you for a full year post-purchase, so just get in touch with our friendly team and we'll make the process super easy.

Do you offer free returns?

Whilst faulty products are rare, if a product is faulty, we’ll reimburse you the cost of posting it back to us. 

For returns/exchanges due to change of mind, or you just don’t like it any more, you’ll have to cover the cost of sending it back. 

We’ll ask you to send us a copy of the postage receipt so we can process it straight away, rather than waiting for the returned product to arrive. The process is very quick and easy.
